Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what you type into a form, we use it to answer you, and we run no analytics or tracking of any kind on this site.
The longer version is below. Every clause has a plain-English summary, so you can read the whole thing quickly and go deeper only where you want to.

What we collect
What you type into a form, and standard server logs. Nothing else. We run no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
When you submit an inquiry or a job application, we receive what you entered: your name, email address, phone number, company details, what you told us about the project or the role, and any file you attached.
Our servers keep ordinary request logs, which include IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These exist to keep the site running and to identify abuse.
We do not run analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, no heatmap tool, and no third-party script watching what you do on this site.
What we use it for
Answering you, and running the project if you become a client. We do not send marketing you did not ask for.
We use what you send us to:
- reply to your inquiry and have the resulting conversation
- deliver and support work you have engaged us for
- assess a job application
- keep the site secure and prevent abuse
- meet our legal and accounting obligations
We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
How it is protected
Encrypted in transit, access limited to people who need it. We will not claim it is impossible to breach, because nobody can.
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to submitted information is limited to the people who need it to do their job, and credentials for the systems holding it are not shared.
No system is perfectly secure, and any company that tells you otherwise is selling something. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that go nowhere are deleted within two years. Client records last as long as our accounting obligations do.
Inquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within two years. Job applications are kept for up to one year unless you ask us to keep them on file for longer.
Records relating to an actual engagement are kept for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting, and contractual obligations require.
Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless the law says we cannot.
Your rights
Ask for a copy, ask for a correction, ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it within 30 days.
Depending where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete it
- restrict or object to how we are using it
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
You do not need a lawyer or a form. Email us and we will action it within 30 days. There is no charge.
Where it is processed
We operate from Pakistan. For clients in the EU, UK, or anywhere with its own transfer rules, we sign the paperwork your side needs, including SCCs and a DPA.
TechLand Engineering Pvt Ltd operates from Islamabad, Pakistan. Information you send us is processed there, and by the hosting and email providers we use, which may be located elsewhere.
Pakistan is not the subject of an EU or UK adequacy decision, so if you are transferring personal data to us from those jurisdictions we will enter into a Data Processing Agreement incorporating the relevant Standard Contractual Clauses, and complete a transfer risk assessment with you. We do this routinely; it is not an obstacle to working together and it should not be treated as one.
Where an engagement requires data to remain in a particular jurisdiction, we can host it there. Several of our clients run in their own cloud tenancy in their own region, and that is often the cleanest answer to a residency requirement.

We link out sometimes. Once you leave, their privacy policy applies, not ours.
This site links to other websites, including our LinkedIn page. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information, and this policy stops at our boundary.

We will update the date at the top when it changes.
