Every sector breaks software in its own way.
These are the environments we build for, and what each one does to a system that was not designed for it.
What each environment does to software
Banking & Financial ServicesMoney moves with a reviewable record behind it, or it does not move. Audit is a feature, not paperwork.Insurance & RiskRules differ by policy, region and date. The logic has to still be readable a year from now.Regulated & Public ServicesAccess, retention and approval are the design, not a layer added at the end.HealthcareScheduling and patient data both fail loudly. Nothing here can be best effort.
Logistics & ManufacturingStock, routing and demand disagree until one data model settles them.
E-commercePrices move faster than anyone can maintain by hand.
EducationThe signal that matters arrives early and quietly.
B2B ServicesPipelines go cold in the gaps nobody is watching.
The obligations we already build around.
Banking & Financial ServicesImmutable audit trails, segregation of duties, data residency, retention schedules.
Insurance & RiskVersioned rules engines, decision logs, and a reviewable history of what applied when.
Regulated & Public ServicesWCAG 2.2 AA conformance, records retention, and an approval chain that survives an audit.
HealthcareHIPAA technical safeguards, BAAs, PHI minimisation, and access logging on every record.
Logistics & ManufacturingTraceability across systems, and reconciliation that survives a partial outage.
E-commercePCI DSS aware integrations, with no cardholder data at rest in anything we build.
EducationStudent data protection, consent handling, and accessible interfaces by default.
B2B ServicesConsent and suppression handling wherever outreach is automated.

Before
Three or four calls in every ten were abandoned at peak times, and after-hours callers could not book at all.
What we built
A voice agent inside the scheduling system answers on the first ring and books against the practice’s own rules. It runs on-premise, so patient audio stays on the practice network.
